Biography: Steve Forney is a freelance illustrator living in Oakland, California, who specializes in creating retro poster designs in a vintage style, with one of his influences being the vintage poster master, A.M. Cassandre. He says he proclaimed in kindergarten that he wanted to be an artist. He attended the University of California, where he earned a degree in political science, but decided to pursue his artistic impulses instead after graduation. He has created design projects for many high profile clients, including Coca-Cola, Carnival Cruise Lines, and Moldavi Wines. Recently he has also been exploring photography.
